1.
Radiant beam, end of the dream and it's so cold. Feel bare footsteps on the frozen ground, opening the seal of the stronghold, ears splitting to the hatchet's pound. Overwhelmed by the acrid earth, the sickly sweet smell of death. Realize we're at the point of no return, bitter work to be done, adrenaline rising as the screws turn, exposing a forsaken son, and I know summer's over. Stallion's feet in the street and it's so loud, deed done and off to home. A moment's courage, years of rage, and so proud, shrinking behind the abbey's dome.
2.
Stay Asleep 03:39
While we're planning, just stay asleep. Don't walk on our time making entry to the keep. We'll walk the fine line. He's always waiting; he's always there, our time is short here; climb the stairs. While we're sustaining our fragile lives don't intrude on our time. Have some brandy. Have some wine. While we're combining bitter roots, don't pass the threshold. Don't harvest these withered fruits. Stay asleep beneath the mould.
3.
Gossamer 04:19
The rain streams like ichor through a concrete window sill. Devouring wretched lives, all I can feel is the master coming. The ship comes into view. The master comes. My life for you! My mind like gossamer, Seward tears it down. Commence sinful reconstruction before I drown, before the darkest gloom a mist enters my room. Like a mainspring, I unwillingly learn to fly for a few sweet moments, before skull hits stone floor. He hath laid his wrath upon this husk. I will soon be gone.
4.
The sun is setting as we make our camp, some days I feel like John, some days like Abraham. The ship comes in around three hours. Smoke cigars; wade in the cold and damp. The steel blue sheen of our Winchesters glimmer in the fire amongst the hills. We wait in the rocks and gaze westward. We'll rain down metal and make a clean kill. Can't seem to remember how this all started. A girl and a beast and a fainting spell? This is no ordinary hunting party--superior game with powers from Hell, sea below, rocks above, and howling brides, fearsome coven.
5.
Switched trains in Budapest, feels like we're riding into battle. Our lady found a route to beat the ship, center seconds like a sabre's rattle. We're on a long ride east, secret enemy to be found. We'll appear and slay the beast like a specter suddenly unbound. Stow our sacred arsenal to sink that ship of fools. Take minutes in diaries to kill time riding east. Try to read that semaphore. See which ship comes into port. Transcribe those cylinders til time to kill him, dear. Caught a coach in Bistriz square heading off to who knows where, over hills and under pines, eerie glow of ancient lines, superstitions, treasures under this place. Horses strain to climb the cliff face. Ah! Finally our time is near. Our victory will be clear.
6.
Listen closely, my dearest friends, our horrible journey's nearly at it's end. On the last role of the dice, your humble doktor has advice: show mercy on what was once a man. The moon shines above as we ride through the vicious night, stalking our feral prey. He's only mortal, just like we, except he's been so for centuries, long-lived and running wild, cunning mind that's still a child, feeling fearful, just like we can. Grace and compassion should temper the killing blow, bring him down to peace below. Keep sweetness in your hearts as we sail upon these bitter waters: remember there are better days to come. As we meet that which we intend to destroy, take great care not to become ourselves wretched.

Artemesia 03:40
Lying afloat on a gentle tide. Sleeping softly like a child in womb. They'll harm my daughters like they killed my bride. Time to return to the sacred tomb. I'd rather rest among the artemesia than be buried in that cold seaside earth. I'd rather wait more endless centuries than face these products of troubled birth. Misguided hands seek mortal vengeance, wielding a crucifix of rage, too young to appreciate the joys of endless sustenance, too dumb to know to right the follies of their ways. I've crossed mountains and oceans. I've crossed forests and seas. Demeter may have erred and veered off course. Someone tell the captain. Find the source of this disease.
